Phone cloning apps for android

Using multiple profiles is not a favorable option. Is there a reason why GrapheneOS didn't adopt this feature yet which apparently is implemented by other OEMs? As long as I don't allow the shady app Network permissions it should be fine I guess, but still. So I'm using the Work Profile (Shelter) option to clone apps, cause all the 3rd party apps seem quite shady Chinese ones. So in short: having this extra security layer together with app cloning would be perfection.Īn interesting feature that was apparent in beta Android 14 didn't make it to the final release it seems: cloning apps (running multiple instances of the same app, for example Signal). Whereas I would like to set a bruteforce proof password for the owner account that is required at boot, and from there only use non-owner profiles with a 6-digit PIN. Using Android's Work Profile (Shelter app) would be fine, however Android only allows you to enable Work Profile on an owner account. What I would like to achieve is cloning apps on an non-owner account.
